8th August 2017

A consultant in emergency medicine at East Cheshire NHS Trust has given two brief but powerful examples of how the Cheshire Care Record has become an indispensable tool at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

Dr Mark Nicol, the trust’s chief clinical information officer, said: “When the NHS was hit by the recent major IT cyber-attack, some of our systems were inaccessible and I really missed the wealth of information I have become accustomed to on the Cheshire Care Record.
